Aix\u00ed ho estableix la Llei General de Drets de les Persones amb Discapacitat i de la seua Inclusi\u00f3 Social, que des del passat 4 de desembre de 2017 fixa l&#8217;obligaci\u00f3 que tots els edificis (fins i tot els m\u00e9s vells) siguen totalment accessibles i compten amb un ascensor homologat per a garantir que qualsevol persona puga fer \u00fas d&#8217;un edifici en igualtat de condicions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Aquesta Llei contempla la necessitat d&#8217;eliminar les barreres arquitect\u00f2niques que impedeixen l&#8217;accessibilitat, ja siga mitjan\u00e7ant la instal\u00b7laci\u00f3 d&#8217;ascensors, elevadors, salva escales o qualsevol altre element que facilite la mobilitat. L&#8217;ull de l&#8217;escala \u00e9s l&#8217;opci\u00f3 preferent sempre que siga possible.
